Summer Update

Wow! once again I am updating the blog. Well summer is almost over and we have had a fun summer! Kaitlyn playing with the neighbor next door their names are Ewan and Chloe. She has played with them most of the summer. She really loves to be outside playing. We went camping on the weekend of the 24th of July and it was pretty good, but very hot.

There is going to be a new addition to the Fuller Family in January 2012! I found out I was pregnant the day before Mother's day. I have been to my appointments for the baby and the baby is doing well. I have my ultrasound on August 10th, so we will get to find out what we are having! I am getting excited to find out then I can prepare whatever I need for the baby. I love the way Kaitlyn kisses my belly. After I told her that we were having a baby, she say "The baby can wear this" talking about clothes, "I better not use the baby spoon, cuz the baby will use this spoon." She told Ewan the next door neighbor that I was having a baby. At least she is recognizing that she is either going to have a brother or sister soon. She says that she would like to have a sister. So, we will have to see when we go to our ultrasound appointment.

Hopefully we will get to take a trip down to see my grandparents soon, I would like to see them again. I heard that they might be coming up to celebrate Kaitlyn's birthday, if they do come up then it will be good to see them again.

Well, that is what has been happening around the Fuller house. There will be more to come!

Lately

Here is an Update on What's happening...We had our 8th anniversary on May 15th, my how times flies! Kaitlyn is doing really well, she had a skills test at school on Monday and she aced it! Her teacher said that is pretty good for a 3 year old( she really said 4 year old, but she is not quite 4 yet) I am so proud of her for doing so well this year with school. Her last day for school is next Wednesday and that night she has a program. She really loves to be outside, but currently it's been raining! I want sunshine!

We got to see my grandparents over Mother's day weekend and They surprised Kaitlyn with an early birthday present, it was a barbie bike! She has been wanting a bike for awhile, they were going to give it to her for her birthday but they gave it early so she can enjoy it during the summer. It was so wonderful to see my grandparents again, it had been almost a year since we last saw them. They loved seeing Kaitlyn and how big she had gotten.

James keeps busy with school and work, but also spends time with us as well. I am just enjoying my time with Kaitlyn and watching her grow and learn new things everyday.

This was taken Last week and I wanted to share you this! I am so proud of her for how well she did this! She has learned this in school.

She sings songs that she is learning from school which I love to hear her sing! I just can't believe how she is getting so big and growing before my eyes!

I am so grateful that she is my daughter even though I have had frustrated days with her. I love her to pieces!

New Year

Well it's the new year...I am going to try and get better at this blog. Anyways...we had a good thanksgiving. We had a wonderful christmas, Kaitlyn was funner this year, when we came down the stairs to do presents...she saw what "Santa" gave her and she said "Santa come?" then she had to go to the bathroom, and while she was going to the bathroom she said "I got a baarbie" while she was saying that she moved her eyebrows up and down. We open presents, then we had to get ready to go up to James' folks and do christmas with them. After we opened presents with them, she said "Are there more presents?" I told her no, there's not anymore we are all done. She was pretty bummed about that, but she had a great christmas!

New Years was okay we just stayed home and out of the storm. We watched the ball drop, then we put Kaitlyn to bed, James and I watched a movie after putting her to bed.

This year we are hoping to do more fun things together as a family. One thing is we are going to disneyland! I am so excited! I want to take Kaitlyn there and it will be her first time! I am really looking forward to that! We hope to do more camping, we only went once last year. Kaitlyn will finish her first year of preschool in May. She really likes preschool, yesterday morning when she had to go to the restroom, she whispered "When it gets daylight, I go to preschool" That was cute!

Anyways that's about all for now.

Aug/Sept Update

Hey it's time to update the blog again! Well, things are going pretty good. The rest of August we pretty much worked on the potty training. On August 18th we got very special news! Kaitlyn is going to have a new cousin! The baby is due in April we are so excited! Then the beginning of September rolled around and Kaitlyn got all Potty trained! I was so happy when that day finally came! We went camping overnight up at Willard Bay over Labor Day weekend, it was windy and cold! But it turned out alright. Then Kaitlyn started Preschool on September 8th, she loves it! She often would tell me "I going to school tomorrow" When really it's a couple days later, she is sweet though. Today I picked her up from school and she gave me a couple of little candy that she had in her hand and went back to her teacher because she wanted a little toy, they get that on Wednesdays, she was bummed about that. Now we are getting near the end of September, my how time flies! Oh we went to the State Fair, Kaitlyn had fun, her and James went on the Ferris Wheel...Boy did she love that! She wanted to go on every ride after that! But we didn't do any other rides, she got a fish 2 times, this was a catch and release thing...The reason we went to that part was because my father-in-law is on some kind of fishing board that he volunteers to help kids learn how to fish.

Well James is staying busy working at ARUP and doing the Maintenance around the townhomes. I still continue to do mother duties and take care of Kaitlyn. Anyways...that's all for now.

Summer Events

Well it's about time I update this thing..Our summer as been pretty good too bad it's almost over :( Kaitlyn really loves being outside...We have gone to the zoo, to the park, played in the water in backyard. Kaitlyn really enjoyed the fireworks this year for the 4th and 24th of July. Oh we inherited a bird that my husband James found while working on one of the townhomes. We also have a fish(I know what you must be thinking) and no they are not close by each other. We got the fish around Memorial Weekend the bird at the end of July.

Kaitlyn's 3rd birthday was yesterday! My how time flies! I went shopping for her birthday yesterday and when James got home we had kind of an Ice Cream Cake but there was no cake part though! We are going to celebrate her birthday twice next week, one is going to be on Wednesday August 18th with James' family then the other one is going to be on Saturday August 21st with my family. It will be fun celebrating it with our families!

Still doing the Potty training and she does good when we ask her to go, but she has gone on her own about 5 times so it's still a work in progress but at least we are trying!

Well, that's it for the update, I will try really hard to update this thing more often.

Snow?

Today is snowing!! Why does it have to snow? I am so ready for spring and the warm weather, we were getting good weather before today. I know that we need snow but I want warm weather to be able to be outside in the sunshine. Kaitlyn loved being outside when the weather was getting warmer.

Anyways...Things have been going pretty good, getting ready for Easter, I can't wait until my grandparents come up! I have not seen them since Thanksgiving, it will be so good to see them! I always enjoy their company when they are up here. We went swimming last Saturday for a ward activity, Katie sure had fun! The swimming pool was indoors. She loves to go swimming! She is always asking if we can go swimming.

She sure is growing so fast! She loves it when we read her books at night before she goes to bed. Last night, she was pretending she knew this book and would say some of the things that were in the book. The book was Called "Happy Mother's Day Mami" It's a Dora the Explorer book. She really loves the Dora Books. I am trying to work on the potty training with her. She knows how to go #2 in the toilet, she went #1 once though. I will just have to keep trying!

James stays pretty busy with his jobs and going to school. I am just doing my mother duties and cleaning and doing laundry. I can't believe that it's going to be April 1st tomorrow, Time sure flies! Hopefully Katie can get potty trained by summer then she can go to preschool! I am not crossing my fingers on that one, but hope it happens.
