Update

It's been awhile since I last updated my blog... Well, things are going okay, I am still at home with Kaitlyn. We just had Thanksgiving... it was alright, we had Thanksgiving at my parents then we went up to James' parents. Kaitlyn is into balloons now! When we go to Walmart or somewhere where there is a balloon, she wants one... so we have like 4 balloons in our living room on the main floor. Pretty soon we will have a balloonland! Anyways... She also loves Barney, and I have her watch Sesame Street everyday. She has learned some signs like Horse, Baby, Bath, Drink, Dog, Dada, milk, cheese. She learned pretty quick when I teach her the signs... I am trying to get her to talk, she says "Ba" for ball, balloon, bubbles. She sure loves James! When he is home she wants to be with him a lot!

Anyways... we got a new couch and a recliner for our main floor living room, we looked for about 5-6 months for a new couch. When we got some money from his parents as a early Christmas present we used some of that money towards the new couch and recliner.

James was taking a Math class this semester, he is very close to being done with it! He will have a final next week then he will be done. He has been way busy the last few months that he was trying to do everything, that he barely had time to do his Math online. I am glad that he will be done next week!

So overall we are doing pretty good just getting ready for the holidays... I can't wait until Christmas! It is my favorite holiday!

First Birthday

Today is Kaitlyn's 1st Birthday! Wow, Time really flew this past year... We already celebrated her birthday with James' Family and Next Sunday we will celebrate with my family. When I was rocking Katie to sleep, I was thinking about the day she was born and how amazing that day was for us. Now, we will be looking forward to celebrate every special occasion with her like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc... I can't believe that I made it the first year with Kaitlyn, watching her grow and accomplish all her milestones.

Update

I haven't been on here for quite awhile, I thought I would do a little updating... Kaitlyn has started to walk, but is trying to walk on her own...I kind of put her in front of me for her to walk a couple of steps Last Friday, then Saturday did the same thing. On Sunday she did a couple of steps for my mom, then she has tried walking on Wednesday at my parents on her own, now she walks when she feels like it... On Thursday she went from the floor to a standing position without holding onto anything... when she would stand then I would have her walk to me. It's so exciting for her to try and walk on her own. It will be better once she walks completely then I don't have to hold her as much, then I can just hold her hand, my back has been bothering me lately and I think it's from holding Kaitlyn. I am glad that I am able to stay home and watch her grow and learn new things.

James is working really hard, he is busy as a bee! He is always on the go! He is working so hard, so that I can be home with Kaitlyn and not have to worry about being in debt or finances. I am grateful that he works hard and tries to provide for me and Kaitlyn. Hopefully I don't have to work for another year(cross my fingers) James is a good father to Kaitlyn, he would give her baths for me when he is home. Kaitlyn loves being with James, because when he is home she wants him to hold her and she clings to him.

Well, I am going to go to bed now, hopefully I can post again soon.

Kaitlyn

Well, it's official that Kaitlyn has started Crawling! She started about an hour ago... I was so excited! She crawled from her blanket to our dog who was by our lazy boy chair.... then I got the dog to move so I can get her on video... then I put something on the floor and she crawled to that. I was so amazed that she crawled, i didn't think she would crawl since I didn't crawl, nor did my uncle. Well, I better make sure my house is childproof!

Update

Well, I thought I would do a little updating... Well, things are going okay around here... James is working hard so that I can stay home with Kaitlyn... It's been nice to stay home with her and watch her grow and do all the little things. She has two bottom teeth, now she is starting to get her third tooth on the top(I felt it tonight when she was biting on my finger) that explains about how cranky she was either yesterday or the day before. It's amazing how she has grown so much over the last 8 months pretty soon she will be a year old! Time sure does Fly! She hasn't crawled yet, but she loves to stand with me helping her, when she wants to stand sometimes she wants to hang on...but then she wants to let go! We are like "no, you can't let go yet" I can't wait until the weather warms up so I can take Kaitlyn for a walk with her in a stroller.
